Saving regularly is one of the best ways to build financial security, whether you’re putting money aside for a rainy day, a special purchase or your future.

Opening a Savings Account

New Members

If you’re not yet a member, you’ll first need to join Plane Saver Credit Union.

Click ‘Join Us’ to complete your membership application. Once you’ve joined, you’ll be able to open and manage your savings account.

Existing Liberty Members

Existing Liberty Credit Union members can continue to save into their account as normal. Following the transfer of member accounts to Plane Saver Credit Union, you’ll also have access to a wider range of savings products.

Paying Into Your Account

You can save in a way that suits you. You can:

  • Pay in at your local branch
  • Set up a standing order from your bank account
  • Send us a cheque by post (please do not send cash)

Even small, regular deposits can make a big difference over time.

Withdrawing Your Savings

You can request a withdrawal from your account by visiting your local officewriting to us, or calling us.

There are no penalties for withdrawing your available savings, although some account terms may apply depending on the type of savings account you hold.
